The amounts are indicated gross and will be paid net,
deducting what is required by current legislation

Players participating in the tournament must have their own FIDE ID, as required by the FIDE rules in force in events organised by the Italian Chess Federation (FSI) / FIDE.

Italian players and foreign players residing in Italy must be members of the Italian Chess Federation.

Pairing system: Swiss/Dutch. Tie Break: REP, Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz Total.

The referee is appointed by the Italian Chess Federation.

Arrival at the chessboard 60 minutes after the scheduled start time will result in forfeiture of the game.

Players must comply with the dress code (vests, undershirts and flip-fl ops are not allowed).

No electronic devices are allowed in the playing area; the reception of the Ecoresort Le Sirenè Hotel is available to store them only for players who are not staying at the hotel. To hand in your electronic device, you must fill in a special form and show your ID to collect it.

You can request a half-point bye for only one game in the first 7 rounds of the Master and Main tournaments and the first 6 rounds of the Seniors tournament. The request must be sent in advance by email to the organiser before the start of the event and registered in the playing hall. The halfpoint bye requested for the first round requires the player to be registered in advance on the official website and to have paid the registration fee.

The organisers may grant 5 wild cards to enter the Master tournament; these are granted to off er players with a score close to the defined deadline or players who have important titles but not the required score the opportunity to play in the higher tournament.

In accordance with the rules of the Italian Chess Federation (FSI), the organiser reserves the right to make changes, where appropriate (with notice at the start of the event or on the website), to adjust the schedule and rounds in order to improve the smooth running of the tournament.

Participation implies tacit acceptance of the CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION, as well as the highest standards of sportsmanship.
